Treasonous conduct is often driven by the love of money

Treason is the crime of betraying one's country, especially by attempting to kill or overthrow sovereignty or government. 1 Timothy 6:10 New International Version For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil.  Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. Those that make a trade of 'Christianity' meaning to follow the example of the Christ to serve their turn for this world, will be disappointed; but those who mind it as their calling, will find it has the promise of the life that now is, as well as of that which is to come.  He that is godly, is sure to be happy in the kingdom of God as promised; and if contented with his condition in this world, he has enough; and all truly godly people are content.  When brought into the greatest straits, we cannot be poorer than when we came into this world; a shroud, a coffin, and a grave, are all that the richest man in the world can have from all his wealth

Judgement

Is either: the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions."an error of judgement; or a misfortune or calamity viewed as a divine punishment.  Jeremiah 27:10 "I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve." Ezekiel 9:1-9 King James Version (KJV) He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand .  And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lieth toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's inkhorn by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brasen altar.   And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house.  And he called to the man clothed with linen,

Is Common Sense common?

Common sense  is a basic ability to perceive, understand, and judge things that are shared by (" common  to") nearly all people and can reasonably be expected of nearly all people without the need for debate. An atheist is a person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods.  The film attached reasons some points for consideration. The Atheist Delusion  https://youtu.be/ChWiZ3iXWwM Exodus 20:16 "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbour. The laws of the SECOND table, that is, the last six of the ten commandments, state our duty to ourselves and to one another, and explain the great commandment, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, Luke 10:27.  Godliness and honesty must go together.  The fifth commandment concerns the duties we owe to our relations.  Honour thy father and thy mother, includes esteem of them, shown in our conduct; obedience to their lawful commands; come when they call you, go

The First Prophecy

Genesis 3:15 New International Version (NIV) And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring[a] and hers; he will crush[b] your head, and you will strike his heel.” In the first prophecy God passes sentence; and he begins where the sin began, with the serpent. The devil's instruments must share in the devil's punishments.  Under the cover of the serpent, the devil is sentenced to be degraded and accursed of God; detested and abhorred of all mankind: also to be destroyed and ruined at last by the great Redeemer, signified by the breaking of his head.  War is proclaimed between the Seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent.  It is the fruit of this enmity, that there is a continual warfare between grace and corruption, in the hearts of God's people.  Satan, by their corruptions, buffets them, sifts them, and seeks to devour them.  These entities can never be reconciled, nor light and darkness; no more can Satan and a sanctified soul.  Also

An Insult?

to treat someone as though he or she is stupid You're saying those photos are real?  Don't insult my intelligence . Romans 1:20-21 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. All mankind need the salvation of the gospel, because none could obtain the favour of God, or escape his wrath by their own works.  For no man can plead that he has fulfilled all his obligations to God and to his neighbour; nor can any truly say that he has fully acted up to the light afforded him.  The sinfulness of man is described as ungodliness against the laws of the first table, and unrighteousness against those of the second.  The cause of that sinfulness is holding the truth in unr

Holy Mount Zion

Hebrews 12:22 But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem.  You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly All the children of God are heirs, and every one has the privileges of the first-born.  Let a soul be supposed to join that glorious assembly and the congregation above, that is yet unacquainted with God, still carnally-minded, loving this present world and state of things, looking back to it with a lingering eye, full of pride and guile, filled with lusts; such a soul would seem to have mistaken its way, place, state, and company.  It would be uneasy to itself and all about it.  Christ is the Mediator of this new covenant, between God and man, to bring them together in this covenant; to keep them together; to plead with God for us, and to plead with us for God; and at length to bring God and his people together in heaven.  This covenant is made firm by the blood of Christ sprinkled upon our consciences, as the

Libel vs Slander

Defamation is an area of law that provides a civil remedy when someone's words end up causing harm to your reputation or your livelihood.  Libel is a written or published defamatory statement, while slander is defamation that is spoken by the defendant.  God's word refers at: James 4:11 Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another.  Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it.  When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it. Our lips must be governed by the law of kindness, as well as truth and justice. Christians are brethren.  And to break God's commands, is to speak evil of them, and to judge them, as if they laid too great a restraint upon us.  We have the law of God, which is a rule to all; let us not presume to set up our own notions and opinions as a rule to those about us, and let us be careful that we be not condemned of the Lord.  Go to now, is a call to any one to c

No End of World Peace

"In the time of those kings, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed, nor will it be left to another people.  It will crush all those kingdoms and bring them to an end, but it will itself endure forever. Daniel 2:44 Earlier in Daniel chapter 2, the image represented the kingdoms of the earth, that should successively rule the nations, and influence the affairs of God's people.  1. The head of gold signified the Chaldean empire, then in being.  2. The breast and arms of silver signified the empire of the Medes and Persians.  3. The belly and thighs of brass signified the Grecian empire, founded by Alexander.  4. The legs and feet of iron signified the Roman empire.  The Roman empire branched into ten kingdoms, as the toes of these feet.   Some were weak as clay, others strong as iron.  Endeavours have often been used to unite them, for strengthening the empire, but in vain.  The stone cut out without hands, represented the kingdom of our H
