Perverters of Justice

There are those who want to brow beat others into their way of perverse thinking without logical reasoning.  They fail to understand that everyone has the freedom to disagree using their own mind to think in accordance to their own conscience. Isaiah 5:20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Amos 5:7 There are those who turn justice into bitterness and cast righteousness to the ground. Habakkuk 1:4 Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted.

Wolves in Sheep's Clothing

There are those who claim to have a direct channel to god, but in reality are only a dark tunnel to nowhere.  Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the inspired expressions to see whether they originate with God, because many false prophets have gone forth into the world. ( 1 John 4:1) Two plus two equals four, not five or three.  As Jesus indicated, we should check out what they do if it added up and was in  line with God's word. (Matthew 7:16-17, 21)  (Revelation 22:1-2)

How can 'the truth set us free’?

Why do some people run from the truth and hide behind untruths.  When and how did we work out that untruths can work for our betterment?  Even some religious leaders and non-believers have become corrupt misleading and being mislead.  (2 Tim 3:13)   Sadly if we knew we were being deceived we would never believe untruths.  Jesus had just finished a speech at the temple where he delineated differences between Himself and His listeners. “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.  I told you that you would die in your sins; if you do not believe that I am he, you will indeed die in your sins” (John 8:23-24) The result of Jesus’ message was that “even as he spoke, many believed in him” (verse 30).  Then, in verse 31, Jesus begins to speak just to those who had believed. The freedom Jesus offers is a  spiritual freedom from the bondage of sin—that is, release from the lifestyle of habitual l...

Is Digital Piracy Really Theft?

Just think, what would you say if someone cloned your bank card and weekly took $100 from your account.  Then handed it over to their friends to do the same?  When you asked them why, they told you "everyone else does so they just joined the crowd".  Beside we can't all be caught right?  Would you then say "well, if everyone did it you did not mind"? The question is, just because everyone else is a goat, so should you be also?  Are you not able to think for your self?  It seems that there is no right or wrong just can you be caught or not. Would someone who really appreciates music steal from the artist, because they have lots of money right?   Is piracy really a form of malicious envy?  Beside what does it cost the artist anyway they can make more music right?  If you need a burst water-pipe fixed would you question how the man who came to repair it obtained his skill?     Few people would openly admit to being a racist,...

What is acting Black?

As defined in the Urban dictionary, Cooning is a verb derived from the word coon.  A coon was/is a person of African decent whose sole purpose was/is to entertain white people.  These 'coons' started out as wearing black face, characterised by rolling big eyes and painting big red lips on their face.  These people would tap dance, play instruments and sing.  Modern day coons are blacks who play stereotypical roles and black entertainers that promote ignorance.  Cooning is someone is acting like a 'coon'.  It appears that the term originated from African-Americans being called "coons" rather than "niggers" or other more offensive slang.  Many people with a superiority complex like to consider all African-Americans to be thieves, hence the term, "someone cooned my wallet or my house got cooned last night".   These are man made concepts from pagan understanding because God in not p...

What is good or bad Music?

Copyright theft, has always been around.  As a young songwriter, I would send my songs to publishers, who stole them all.  All I would hear was some of my lyrics over the radio.  As a result, after crying to them, I was advised by the musicians union to create Pennant Music Publishers and record my own music to establish ownership beyond doubt.  I remember at music school I got into a heated discussion about the origins of rap music.  It was clear to me then in my humble view, that we all have come a long way but still have some way to go.  In a discussion yesterday I was asked why did god make me black?  I think the inference was that being black was an affliction.  My answer was 'I was blessed by god as a black man, whoever has a problem should take it up with god, not me'.    I was constantly being told by record executives to play Reggae, Hip Hop, or Soul music.  My love is of creating music, what I write or play is left ...
