Judgement Upon Wickedness

Joel 3:10-15
Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Yahuwah.  Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.  Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of Yahuwah is near in the valley of decision.
The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

These scriptures refer to a challenge to all the enemies of Yahuwah's people.  There is no escaping Yahuwah's judgments against hardened sinners, in that day of wrath, they shall be cut off from all comfort and joy.  Most of the prophets foretell the same final victory of the people of Yahuwah over all that oppose them.  To the wicked it will be a terrible day, but to the righteous it will be a joyful day.  What cause have those who possess an interest in Yasuhua, to glory in their Strength and their Redeemer!  The acceptable year of the Yahuwah, a day of such great favour to some, will be a day of remarkable vengeance to others.  Let everyone who is out of his favour awake and flee from the wrath to come.

As Yahuwah's foes are desired to "beat their ploughshares into swords, and their pruning hooks into spears," that so they may perish in their unhallowed attack on Judah and Jerusalem.  As a result, these latter one of the nations who have converted to Yahuwah, after the overthrow of the anti-Yahushua/anti-christ confederacy, shall, on the contrary, "beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks," because when under the Messiah's coming reign there shall be war no more.

Direction is given to the ministers of vengeance to execute Yahuwah's wrath, as the enemy's wickedness is come to its full maturity.  Yahuwah does not cut off the wicked at once, but waits till their guilt is at its full, so as with the Amorites' iniquity, to show forth His own long-suffering, and the justice of their doom who have so long abused it, has been fully earned.

The prophet in vision seeing the immense array of nations congregating, exclaims, "Multitudes, multitudes!" a Hebraism for immense multitudes.

The valley of decision, that is, the valley in which they are to meet their "determined doom."  The same as "the valley of Jehoshaphat," that is, "the valley of judgment."  The repetition of "valley of decision" heightens the effect and pronounces the awful certainty of their doom.
