Who Are Depicted Here?

Daniel 7:9-10
9.    “I watched till thrones were put in place, And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow, And the hair of His head was like pure wool.
His throne was a fiery flame, Its wheels a burning fire;
10.    A fiery stream issued And came forth from before Him. A thousand thousands ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him.
The court was seated, And the books were opened

The Book of Daniel is preserved in the twelve-chapter Masoretic Text and in two longer Greek versions, the original Septuagint version, c. 100 BC, and the later Theodotion version from c. 2nd century AD.

These verses are for the comfort and support of the people of Yahuwah, in reference to the persecutions that would come upon them.  Many New Testament predictions of the judgment to come, have a plain allusion to this vision.

The Messiah is here called the Son of man, he was made in the likeness of sinful flesh and was found in fashion as a man, but he is the Son of Yahuwah.  The great event foretold in this passage, is Yeshua Ha Mashiach's glorious coming, to destroy every satanic power, and to render his own kingdom universal upon earth.

But here the solemn time arrives, for manifesting the glory of Yahuwah to all worlds in his dealings with his creatures, we may expect that the doom of each of us will be determined at the hour of our death.  Before the end shall come, the Father will openly give to his incarnate Son, our Mediator and Judge, the inheritance of the nations as his willing subjects.

Daniel 7:9
"I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire."

This tells us that Yahuwah is not a White man as He is so commonly portrayed by false teachers, but rather he is a Black man.  If the so-called Christian Right, the KKK and the Neo-Nazis have a problem in handling this fact, thereby, demonstrating the true nature of their devotion to the most high and his son, that is up to them.

The Book of Daniel is a biblical apocalypse, combining a prophecy of history with an eschatology (the study of last things) which is both cosmic in scope and political in its focus.  In more mundane language, it is "an account of the activities and visions of Daniel, a noble Jew exiled at Babylon," its message is that just as the Elohim of Israel saved Daniel and his friends from their enemies, so he would save all of Israel in their present oppression.

In the Hebrew Bible, it is found in the Ketuvim (writings), while in Christian Bibles it is grouped with the Major Prophets. The book divides into two parts, a set of six court tales in chapters 1–6 followed by four apocalyptic visions in chapters 7–12.

The deuterocanon contains three additional stories, the Song of the Three Holy Children, Susanna, and Bel and the Dragon.  Though the book is traditionally ascribed to Daniel himself, modern scholarly consensus consider it pseudonymous, the stories of the first half-legendary in origin, and the visions of the second the product of anonymous authors in the Maccabean period (2nd century BC).

Its influence has resonated through later ages, from the Dead Sea Scrolls community and the authors of the gospels and Revelation to various movements from the 2nd century to the Protestant Reformation and modern millennialist movements – on which it continues to have a profound influence.

Revelations 1:14
His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

The congregation of the faithful receive their light from Yeshua Ha Mashiach and the gospel and hold it forth to others.  They are golden candlesticks, they should be precious and pure, not only the ministers but the members of the churches, their light should so shine before men, as to engage others to give glory to Yahuwah.  And the apostle saw as though of Yeshua Ha Mashiach's appeared in the midst of the golden candlesticks.

He is with his congregation of the faithful always, to the end of the world, filling them with light, and life, and love.  He was clothed with a robe down to the feet, perhaps representing his righteousness and priesthood, as Mediator.  This vest was girt with a golden girdle, which may denote how precious are his love and affection for his people.  His head and hairs white like wool and as snow may signify his majesty, purity, and eternity.

His eyes as a flame of fire may represent his knowledge of the secrets of all hearts, and of the most distant events.  His feet like fine brass burning in a furnace may denote the firmness of his appointments and the excellence of his proceedings.  His voice as the sound of many waters may represent the power of his word, to remove or to destroy. The seven stars were emblems of the ministers of the seven churches to which the apostle was ordered to write, and whom Yeshua Ha Mashiach upheld and directed.   The sword represented his justice, and his word, piercing to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, Hebrews 4:12.

His countenance was like the sun when it shines clearly and powerfully, its strength too bright and dazzling for mortal eyes to behold.  The apostle was overpowered with the greatness of the lustre and glory in which Yeshua Ha Mashiach appeared.  We may well be contented to walk by faith, while here upon earth.  Yahushua spoke words of comfort.  Fear not. Words of instruction, telling who thus appeared.  And his Divine nature, the First and the Last.  His former sufferings, I was dead, the very same whom his disciples saw upon the cross. His resurrection and life, I have conquered death and a partaker of life everlasting.

His office and authority, sovereign dominion in and over the invisible world, as the Judge of all, from whose sentence there is no appeal.  Let us listen to the voice of Yeshua Ha Mashiach, and receive the tokens of his love, for what can he withhold from those for whose sins he has died?  May we then obey his word and give up ourselves wholly to him who directs all things aright.

Whether modern depictions of the appearance of Yahushua are historically accurate has long been a subject of debate, and one rumour related to that debate holds that the modern image of Yahushua is largely based on the appearance of Cesare Borgia, a 15th-century Italian nobleman.

Claims about Cesare Borgia’s likeness forming the basis for all modern depictions of Yahushua are scattered.  An online “encyclopedia” of dubious merit asserts the rumour as a “little-known fact,” crediting French novelist Alexandre Dumas for the notion that Borgia “influenced many images of Yeshua Ha Mashiach painted during and subsequent to his career.”

Dumas was, while celebrated, a writer of fiction and not a historian.  The rumour is frequently attributed to “Volume I” of Dumas’ Celebrated Crimes (The Borgias), but we were unable to locate an expression of it in that essay.

Myriad online image macros assert that Borgia’s father “forced” his son’s visage into art history (a claim offered as an irony given that the Borgia family were supposed “not Yeshus Ha Mashiach like, but no evidence ever accompanies such assertions.  Such images imply that the relatively standardized, modern depiction of Yahushua emerged in approximately 1490, but art historians might argue otherwise.  Although the Renaissance produced a vast quantity of the most prominent depictions of Yahushua, plenty of artworks antedating 1490 bear the same visual qualities that were purportedly based on those of Borgia.

Daniel 12:4
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Michael signifies, who is like Yahuwah, and his name, with the title of the great Prince, points out the Divine Saviour.  Yeshus Ha Mashiach stood for the children of our people in their stead as a sacrifice, bore the curse for them, to bear it from them.  He stands for them in pleading for them at the throne of grace.

And after the destruction of the antichrist, the complete redemption of all his people.  When Yahuwah works deliverance from persecution for them, it is as life from the dead.  When his gospel is preached, many who sleep in the dust, both Jews and Gentiles, shall be awakened by it out of their heathenism of Judaism.

And in the end the multitude that sleep in the dust shall awake, many shall arise to life, and many to shame.  There is glory reserved for all the saints in the future state, for all that are wise, wise for their souls and eternity.  Those who turn many to righteousness, who turn sinners from the errors of their ways, and help to save their souls from death, will share in the glory of those they have helped to life, which will add to their own glory.
